Outline

0LCM-1A is a lighting control module installed directly at the location of the lighting apparatus capable of controlling individual lighting. It is frequently used for rental buildings/office buildings where structure is changed frequently due to lighting management at individual lighting level and, as it can be added to the existing lighting system for integrated operation, large capacity circuit control and individual lighting control can be used individually or at the same time in accordance with the purpose of use. If a multiple number of lighting apparatuses are registered as a group and the relevant group is used being linked with a program switch or an illuminance sensor, the system can be operated in the same way as that of the existing large capacity (25 A) circuit unit lighting control system.
0Also, an energy saving lighting control system which reduces unnecessary energy waste by adding a human body detecting sensor (LPS) can become an option, as individual lightings can be automatically controlled in accordance with human presence.

Functions and features
  • It is placed on each lighting apparatus and plays the role of turning on or off the individual lighting.
  • No hardware power wiring is required between the switch and the lighting apparatus for turning on/off of the lighting. (Power line and communication line are wired in parallel in the lighting apparatus.)
  • Function to control individual lighting through interoperation with a human body detection sensor (PIR sensor, option) and automatic on/off time setup function .
  • When a human body detection sensor is used, as lighting is controlled in accordance with human presence, the highest power saving effect can be obtained.
  • The functions are the same as those of a general lighting system such as individual/group/pattern control as well as schedule control.
  • Lighting can be turned on/off by the program switch (TPSM/PSM series) for lighting control.
  • Power line communication technology which integrated power and communication into one cable is applied (SM-Net communication).
  • Thirty two LCM-1As are used for each LCU and, when repeaters are used, it can be extended to maximum 128 units.
  • It can be integrated with general automatic control systems such as lighting system, and equipment/power system through using a LCU unit of the Shina System.
